If I'm not mistaken RE7 is super cheap these days right? I got the Gold Edition just so I could 100% it. Nightmare and Ethan Must Die modes are pretty fun, and those are DLC. The Gold Edition/Season Pass content is fun, however you don't need and shouldn't play any DLCs before or while the main story. So, you could just start with the game now and wait for a nice price of the Season Pass. - Not A Hero is for free anyway.
